Website information

Cookie Policy

Cookies and browser storage used for enquiry security, live chat and optional Analytics.

What cookies and browser storage do

Cookies are small values that websites can ask a browser to retain and send with later requests. Local storage and session storage are other ways to retain information in a browser. Their purpose and duration depend on the implementation.

Enquiry security

The enquiry pages set a first-party session cookie named wbs_enquiry. It associates your browser with server-side security challenges, one-time form tokens, short-term attempt counts and submission confirmation. It contains a random session identifier, not your form fields. It is a browser-session cookie, uses HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, and is marked Secure when the server receives HTTPS. Browser session restoration may retain session cookies. Optional analytics is described below. Hosting and security providers may use separate technical storage.

Preferences and enquiries

Your analytics choice is stored in first-party local storage as wbs_analytics_choice_v1 for up to 180 days. It contains only the choice and timestamp. You can change it through Analytics settings in the footer. The enquiry security cookie supports form validation and spam prevention. Blocking it prevents the form security check from working; email and phone remain available. Enquiry details are saved privately on the server, separately from the cookie. Hashed network-address keys and recent submission timestamps support submission throttling; the enquiry review policy is described in the Privacy Policy.

Optional analytics service

Google Analytics is supplied by Google and is managed through the website owner's existing Google Tag Manager container. Measured page/referrer URLs are reduced to their origin and path; query strings, fragments and enquiry contents are excluded by this implementation. Google determines applicable processing and retention under the configured account settings and its terms. Do not put personal information in page paths or other public URLs.

Live chat storage

The tawk.to chat widget loads automatically on page initialization, independently of the Google Analytics choice. It uses cookies and local or session storage to recognise returning browsers, maintain conversations and coordinate connections across tabs. According to tawk.to, its storage may include tawk_uuid_* identifiers lasting up to six months, the session cookies twk_idm_key and TawkConnectionTime, and local-storage tokens such as twk_token_*. Actual names can vary by widget and provider version. Removing chat storage can prevent the widget from recognising your previous conversations. Rejecting optional analytics does not turn off tawk.to or remove its storage.

Production services may change the inventory

A hosting provider, CDN, security layer or later integration may introduce cookies or other storage. The deployed site must be checked when integrations change, and this page updated with the relevant providers, purposes and lifetimes.

Optional tracking and consent

On the production website, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics load only after you choose Allow analytics. Reject optional analytics leaves them unloaded. Analytics measures page visits, scrolling, email/phone link clicks and confirmed enquiry receipt; form field values are not deliberately sent. Advertising storage, advertising personalisation and user-provided-data collection are disabled. Google Analytics can use first-party _ga and _ga_* cookies with a configured lifetime of up to 180 days after consent. Analytics settings in the footer lets you change your choice; rejecting after acceptance removes these cookies and reloads the page. With JavaScript disabled, analytics does not load. Google may process technical information such as network addresses, browser/device details and visit information under its service terms.

Browser controls

You can review and remove stored site data using your browser settings. Blocking storage may affect features on websites that depend on it. Browser controls are separate from any consent controls a website may provide.
